After being told I needed a new $3000 transmission in Grants Pass, I decided to risk it and drive the rest of the way home to get second opinion. I took my truck to Aamco and after the mechanic ran a diagnostic AND test drove it, he told me that the Transmission was fine and he suspected that the vibration was in the suspension. Then he didn't even charge me for the diagnostic! I got some new shocks and tires and the vibration is gone. Its now been 3 months and the transmission that was deemed broken by the first mechanic is still shifting great! Thanks for being honest Aamco! It a rare thing these days.

They rebuilt my suburban’s transmission at the Salem location and the customer service was outstanding. Josh was the person who communicated with me through the process and he was great! Professional, polite, proficient and clear communication through every step. He sent everything that was going to be done in a form via text and I had to approve it before they could move forward. Reasonably priced and gave options for fixing/rebuilding the transmission. Just drove it home and it’s running better than ever. I highly recommend them.
These guys are the greatest they are genuinely honest and Josh was incredibly helpful with explaining the issues that were found with my vehicle and I couldn’t thank these guys enough
